Pools & Spas
Currumbin sands has two separate pool areas.

The main pool area includes a large unheated pool with a waterfall, a heated pool, and a heated spa.

The second pool area is located on the northern side near the pool apartments with a unheated pool and a heated spa.

Barbeque Areas
Currumbin Sands has four barbeque areas. There is one in each of the pool areas, and two others are situated in the gardens.    

Location
Situated in a unique location on absolute beachfront with no roads to cross to the open ocean beach.  Options include surfing the beach break directly in front of the resort, surfing the point at the alley, or if you are seeking flat water then use the southern gate from the resort to walk directly to the lagoon and the calm waters of Currumbin Estuary.  This is the choice of many families as the Currumbin Creek offers an extended shoreline of shallow water, sandy beaches and sheltered, shady or sunny spots for all to enjoy in almost any weather or tide conditions.

Together the Gold Coast Council Life Guards and SLSA lifesavers protect our beaches.  The Guards operate from an elevated tower in front of Currumbin sands and at The Alley and SLSA Surf lifesavers patrol the beach in front of Currumbin Sands on summer weekends Sep – Apr and all school holidays.

Walking distance to the Pines shopping Centre, the new library, the Currumbin and Palm Beach restaurants & clubs, an easy drive to Pacific Fair shopping centre.  Public transport is available at the front door, if you really need to leave 'paradise'. In addition to all the water sports this location offers, we are also close Tally Valley golf courses for all player levels, tennis and squash courts & gymnasium at Palm Beach, and a boardwalk along the rivers edge - something for everyone!

Tropical Gardens & Brook
Surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens, Currumbin Sands is in an idyllic and private setting. Included in these gardens is a wonderful brook with fish and water lilies.
