CURRUMBIN SANDS THINGS TO DO

Tallebudgera Creek is a beautiful body of water that feeds into Tallebudgera Beach and is framed by the Burleigh Heads National Park on the Northern side and Palm Beach on the southern side.

Tallebudgera Creek provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the relaxed outdoor lifestyle that the Gold Coast is known for – swim, kayak, stand-up paddle board, go fishing, picnic on the banks, or head up the creek and around to Tallebudgera Beach for surfing.

Over on the Burleigh Heads side you can enjoy the National Park and take one of the pathed walks that go around the coastline to Burleigh Heads beach. Also on that side you’ll find Jellurgal Cultural Centre, where you can book a number of tours.

On the Palm Beach side of the creek, there are toilet facilities and a children’s playground. This side is also seasonally patrolled by lifeguards – look out for the red and yellow flags.
